Sharon Scholl


Sharon Scholl holds a doctorate in Music and Humanities from Florida State University. She is designated Professor Emeritus from Jacksonville University (FL). She has held fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.

Under a grant from the Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry she produced a six part TV series on local poetry venues and personalities.

She is the author of Music and Culture (Holt, Rinehart & Winston) and Death and the Humanities (Bucknell University Press). Individual poems have appeared in such literary reviews as Oasis, Kalliope, Northwoods, and Poetry Motel.

Her two poetry collections are Unauthorized Biographies (Closet Books) and All Points Bulletin (Closet Books).

She lives in Atlantic Beach FL.
